New to Hot Yoga? You’re in the Right Place.
Hot yoga is for every body—regardless of age, experience, or flexibility. Adding a hot yoga practice to your life can bring powerful physical and mental health benefits, including reduced stress, increased strength and endurance, greater range of motion, and relief from pain and tension.

It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous at first, but we welcome and encourage students of all fitness levels. If you're brand new to yoga, we recommend starting with a Stability or Yin class to help you ease in and build a strong foundation.

And remember—there’s no such thing as “not being flexible enough” for yoga. Everyone’s practice is unique, and as it’s often said, there are as many yoga poses as there are people. Come as you are and let your journey begin—just a few classes can make a lasting difference.

Tips & Etiquette for New Students

Hydrate:
Proper hydration is essential before, during, and after class. We offer a filtered water station, as well as bottled water, coconut water, and electrolyte supplements for purchase.

Registration:
Please pre-register through our website or the MindBody app. Arrive 15–20 minutes early to complete paperwork, meet your instructor, and get a quick tour of the studio. We’re happy to answer any questions you have. Note: You must be 16 or older to attend class.

What to Bring:
We recommend bringing a yoga mat, a large mat towel, a small hand/face towel, water, and a yoga block. All of these items are also available for rent or purchase at the studio. Please store personal belongings in the cubbies or your car. For everyone's comfort, no shoes or cell phones are allowed in the practice room. Smartwatches must be set to theater mode to avoid lighting up or making noise during class.

Peace & Quiet:
To maintain a calming environment, please refrain from talking in the practice room. Enjoy the quiet space before and after class to relax, meditate, or simply unwind.

Stay in the Room:
Unless it's an emergency, please remain in the practice room for the entire class. If you feel overwhelmed, lying down on your mat is always an option. Leaving suddenly can cause a temperature shock to the body and may distract others. If you do need to exit, please inform your instructor so they can check in with you. Class officially ends when the instructor says "Namaste."

What to Wear:
Wear lightweight, breathable clothing that allows for a full range of motion and supports you as you sweat.

Be Mindful of Scents:
Scents—pleasant or otherwise—can become intensified in a hot room. Please check that your yoga gear is clean and odor-free. Avoid using strong perfumes, colognes, or scented sprays in the practice room.

Have Fun:
Listen to your body, rest when needed, and don’t take things too seriously. Every day is different—and just showing up is something to be proud of!
